Within Velocity a variable is an object and may have methods (functions)
which can used. igpp.docgen has pre-defined variables that give access to useful classes that can used
to process user defined varaibles. They are:
- Calc: Advanced math operations
- Date: Date conversion and parsing
- File: Information about files
- Text : Convienent string operations
- Long: Standard Java class for parsing and manipulation of long integers
- Integer: Standard Java class for parsing and manipulation of integers
- Double: Standard Java class for parsing and manipulation of doubles
- String: Standard Java class for parsing and manipulation of strings
